George and Cynthia Wells were living 1920 in Byberry Township, Philadelphia County where George worked as a farm manager. In 1930, the family lived in Solebury Township, Bucks County engaged in farming. In 1942, George Wells registered for the World War II draft as a resident of New Hope, Bucks County.

Cynthia C. Wells of Lambertville, a patient at the Richboro Care Center, Richboro, died Sunday at Holy Redeemer Hospital, Huntingdon Valley. She was 89. Mrs. Wells was born in Brownsburg, daughter of the late George and Jennie Worthington Bodine. Before going to live at the Richboro Care Center, Mrs. Wells lived for several years in the Lambertville-New Hope area. Prior to that she lived in Bristol. She is survived by her husband, George Wells. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. She is also survived by a son, Clarence, New Hope, and a daughter, Edith Hann, Lambertville; a sister, Edith Degg of Morrisville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Wells to the Richboro Care Center, Richboro.

George Wells of Lambertville died Saturday at the Richboro Care Center. He was 96. He was the husband of the late Cynthia Bodine Wells. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in New Hope and Lambertville for several years. Mr. Wells was a retired maintenance supervisor for Rohm and Haas in Bristol. He is survived by a daughter, Edith Harm of Lambertville, a son, Sam of New Hope; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton. Contributions may be made to the Richboro Care Center, 253 Twining Ford Road, Richboro 18954.
