Arthur Bodine AND Laura Carver were married 17 Sept 1896 in Hartsville, Bucks County, by D. K. Turner, Minister.
In 1900, Arthur Bodine was working as an insurance agent in Buckingham Township. He reported that in 4 years of marriage, Laura had borne 2 children, both then living. On 12 Sept 1918 in Trenton, he registered for the World War I draft as Arthur Haines Bodine and reported he was born 4 March 1881, six years younger than his actual birthdate of March 1875. He said he was a Motorcycle Policeman with the Trenton Police Department and his next of kin was his wife Laura Bodine. In 1920, he was living in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey engaged as a city policeman. By April 1930, Laura Bodine was widowed, still living in Trenton.

Funeral services for Arthur H. Bodine, 47 years old, foreman of the police department paint shop, who died Saturday at his home, 686 Stuyvesant Avenue, will be held at the home of his son, Emmor Bodine, 120 Exton Avenue, White Horse, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial willl be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Poulson & Van Hise. Bodine had been ill but three days from pleuro-pneumonia. His widow, Mrs. Laura Bodine, is critically ill at the Stuyvesant Avenue home. Beside his wife, Bodine leaves three sons, Emmor, John and Carrol Bodine; two granddaughters, Dorothy and Evelyn Bodine, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Rutherford, of Warrenton, Pa. Entering the police department as a patrolman, Bodine served for some time and was later transferred to the motorcycle squad. Six years ago he was placed in charge of the paint shop. He was a member of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association.

Arthur H. Bodine, 53 years old, 686 Stuyvesant ave., Trenton, after a short illness. Death was due to pleuro-pneumonia and he had been ill only three days. He was the son of the late Martha and Augustus Bodine. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Bodine, three sons, Emmor, John and Carroll Bodine, two grandchildren, Dorothy and Evelyn Bodine and one sister, Mrs. Clara Rutherford, Warrington. Mr. Bodine was a native of Furlong and spent a number of years in that vicinity.

Services for Mrs. Laura L. Bodine, widow of Arthur Bodine, who died Saturday in her 54th year, were conducted yesterday afternoon at the late home, 686 Stuyvesant Avenue, by the Rev. D. Wilson Hollinger, of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of Elmer A. Kemp. Bearers were: Elmer Price, John Klemanns, Frank Schuster, Howard Cochran, Harry Horton and Charles Apple.
