Notes for: Esther Bodine

The marriage of Amos Dudbridge of Warwick Township and Esther Bodine of Doylestown Township was reported in the "Bucks County Intelligencer." In 1850, Smith and Esther Dudbridge were living in Warwick Township engaged in farming. Living with them was Sarah Bodine, age 63. In 1860, the family was living in Buckingham Township, Bucks County and in 1870 again in Warwick Township, where Amos worked as a dry goods merchant. The couple is no longer evident in 1880, perhaps having died.

From State of Pennsylvania Certificate of Death for Esther B. Dudbridge: born 28 Aug 1830 in Bucks Co., PA; parents unknown; died 4 May 1915 in Doylestown, Bucks Co.; buried in Doylestown Cemetery. Informant was Mrs. James Barrett.
