The marriage of Stephen T. Gordon of Wrightstown and Amanda Bodine of Buckingham Township was reported in the "Bucks County Intelligencer." The Gordon family was living 1850 in Buckingham Township and soon after moved to Solebury and later moved to Philadelphia. See Battle, J. H.. "History of Bucks County, Pennsylvania," Philadelphia Chicago: A. Warner, 1887, p. 1093 for a biographical sketch of their son Cary L. Gordon.

Philadelphia Death Records for 1870 record the death of Stephen T. Gordon and his burial in Wrightstown, Bucks County, Pa.

Children: Cary L. (21 April 1835), Edward (1836), Morris (1839), William H. (1841), Anna Maria (1844), Angeline (1847).
