Plumstead Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and Amwell Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey are 25 miles apart.

From Hunterdon County, New Jersey Marriage Records:
These are to certify that William Bodine and Catherine Groonindike Both of Amwell were married by me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace and for said County. August 20th 1808. Richard Opdyke, JP.

Deed of 7 June 1809. Amos Warfield & wife Catherine of Tinicum Twp., Bucks Co., PA to WILLIAM BODINE of Amwell Township, 5 acres in Kingwood Township for $135.33. Recorded 13 July 1809 in Hunterdon Co., NJ Deed Book 16, p. 11.

Deed of 13 Aug 1811. Abraham Heed & wife Jane of Solebury Township to WILLIAM BODINE of Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey for L400, 5 acres & 140 perches in Plumstead Township. Recorded 28 Aug 1811 in Bucks Co., PA Deed Book 40, p. 178.

Deed of 28 July 1812. WILLIAM BODINE & Catherine, his wife, of Plumstead Twp., Bucks Co., PA to Lewis Stewart of Kingwood Twp., Hunterdon County a tract conveyed by Amos Warford to Bodine on 7 June 1809 for $133.33 sell 5 acres in Kingwood Township. Witnessed by Richard Opdyke & William Hambleton. Recorded 7 Sept 1812 in Hunterdon Co., NJ Deed Book 20, p. 284.

6 Oct 1813. William Bodine of Plumstead Township. Administrators-William Hamilton & Joseph Howell. Widow's remuneration filed [though she is not named]. Settlement filed 7 Oct 1814: Debit $741.58, Credit $843.49, Balance $106.91. (Bucks Co., PA Administrations, Book B, p. 121, File 4029.)

On 28 Nov 1814 a record entry recorded that William Bodine of Plumstead Township left no issue. He owned 6 acres on the Delaware River. (Bucks Co. Orphans' Court Docket Books, File 2295).

Deed of 1 April 1815. Joseph Cowell & William Hamilton, Administrators of the Estate of WILLIAM BODINE, late of Plumstead Township to Ebenezer Large of Solebury Township for $1600, 5 acres and 140 perches in Plumstead Township which Bodine had purchased in 1811 from Abraham & Jane Heed. Recorded 19 Oct 1815 in Bucks Co., PA Deed Book 44, p. 165.

The sale of the land in April 1815 was ordered by the court to pay off the remaining debt of the estate. Although Catharine was alive when the administrators filed their widow's remuneration in October 1813, there is no subsequent record of her or what became of the remaining funds from the sale of land.
