Robert Bodine enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in Sept. 1948. Elnetta (Brumley) Bodine is the daughter of George and Lila (Tolley) Brumley. On 16 Oct 1986 in Clark County, Nevada, Elnetta Bodine married Edmund Lee Tyner.

MARCH AFB. Calif.--Technical Sergeant Robert Bodine of Mount Vernon, III., has been graduated from the Fifteenth Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy here. Sergeant Bodine, an aircraft maintenance technician, is being reassigned to Larson AFB, Wash. The sergeant is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther L. Bodine of Route 1, Mount Vernon. He and his wife, the former Elnetta M. Brumley of Route 4A, Mount Vernon, have three children.

Elnetta M. Bodine Tyner, 79, Indianapolis, passed away on January 11, 2014. She was born on May 11, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, IL, to the late George and Lila (Tolley) Brumley. Elnetta married Robert Bodine on August 4, 1950 in Tucson, AZ, he passed away on December 12, 1984. She then married Edmund L. Tyner on October 16, 1986 in Las Vegas and he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Sherry Stover, Indianapolis, Linda (Ron) Coy, Indianapolis, Anita (Dave) Walton, Gosport, Becky (Tim) Munger, Greenwood; step-children, Gary (Linda) Tyner, Greenwood, David Tyner, Franklin, Karen (Tom) Wolsiffer, Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers. She was also preceded in death by a sister. Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 17 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, with visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 in the mortuary. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
