George Trimby, 57, Route 8, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in his home after an illness of several years. Mr. Trimby was a farmer and a lifetime area resident. He was born Nov. 27, 1907 in Decatur, a son of George and Rosa Diss Trimby. Mr. Trimby married Pearl Bodine in 1944 in Salem, Ark. He leaves his wife; two sons, George and Frank J., both of Decatur; four sisters, Mrs. Glenn (Katherine) Riley; Mrs. Glenn (Lucille) Fortner; Mrs. Thomas (Charlotte) Murphy; Mrs. Melbert (Maxine) Nance, all of Decatur; two brothers, Lloyd L. and Kenneth D., both of Decatur, and one grandchild. One sister preceded him in death. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eloise Rogers will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers, 43, of 1016 N. Warren St. died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital. She was born in Macon County, the daughter of J. D. and Sylvia Kite Bodine. Mrs. Rogers was a lifelong resident of Decatur and Macon County. She died of cancer after an illness of several months, She leaves her mother of Decatur; two sons, Lonnie Trimby and Frank Trimby, both of Decatur; three brothers, Richard and Earl Bodine, both of Decatur, Jay Bodine, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Woodrow (Loraellen) Waller, Decatur and four grandchildren.
