James E. Bodine AND Pearl Harter were married 15 Sept 1915.
James Bodine registered for the World War I draft on 17 Sept 1918 in Dallas, Texas. He said he was born 4 April 1898, employed as a railway receiving clerk with the American Railway Express Company and that his nearest relative was Jesse Green Bodine, of Mesquite, Texas. In 1920-1930, James Bodine was living with his family in Dallas and still working as a receiving clerk. Lydia (Harter) Bodine was the daughter of George Washington and Rosa Mae (Johnson) Harter.
