Sid and Jennie 'Haas' were living 1910 in Dallas, Dallas County where Sid worked as a grocery salesman. In 1920 he was engaged in farming. Sidney and Jennie Hass were buried in Mesquite Cemetery, Dallas County.

MESQUITE, Texas.---Sidney Cleaveland Hass, 68, a retired Terminal Annex Post Office employee, died in his home here Wednesday after a heart attack. Mr. Hass, a life-long resident of Mesquite, was employed with the Post Office for 32 years before his retirement two years ago. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last February. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Mesquite. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Glenn Hass of Mesquite and James C. Hass of Dallas, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2: 30 p.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church of Mesquite with the Rev. Earl Kifer officiating. Burial will be in Mesquite Cemetery.

MESQUITE---Mrs. Jennie Hass, 77, of 615 S. Galloway, a Mesquite resident for the last 16 years, died Monday in Dallas. Mrs. Hass, a native of Kaufman County, was a member of the First Methodist Church here. Survivors: two sons, Glenn T. Hass of Mesquite and James C. Hass of Dallas; two brothers, T. L. Bodine and J. E. Bodine, both of Dallas, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mesquite Cemetery.
