Carroll and Ruth Casada were buried in South Hickory Hill Cemetery, McClellan Township, Jefferson County. Carroll's date of birth when he registered for the World War 1 draft and on his gravemarker is 1 March 1897, in his obituary it is 1 March 1895. Virgil Crunk was buried with his 1st wife, Ella Marie (died 5 Oct 1981), in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Jefferson County. Edward and Ruth Burke lived April 1930 at a "Road Camp" in Park Township, Montgomery County, Arkansas where Edward worked as a highway laborer. A Edward Burk died in Polk County, Arkansas on 23 Sept 1936 and since Ruth seems to have remarried soon after, he and Ruth's 1st husband appear to be the same man.

Carrol Monroe Casada, 74, of 1619 Forest Avenue, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired fireman at the Tie Plant. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Chapel. Burial will be in South Hickory Hill cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Mr. Casada was born March 1, 1895, in Jefferson county, the son of John and Ollie (Huffines) Casada. He was married to Ruth Bodine, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jack Casada and Wilbert Casada, both of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Gloria Rainey and Easter Rogers, both of Mt. Vernon and Donna Jean, at home; one step- daughter, Leoina Jackson of Mt. Vernon; two step- sons, Arnold Burk and Joe Burk, both of Mt. Vernon; one half- brother, Homer Dare of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Amanda Ross of Mt. Vernon; and 28 grandchildren.
