Notes for: William Stanson Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

William Bodine registered for the World War I draft on 12 Sept 1918 in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. In 1930, the Bodine family was living in Page, Le Flor County, Oklahoma, where William worked as railway foreman. His death was recorded in "Masonic Death Records from the Grand Lodge of Arkansas, 1941-1990."

BODINE, ANNA TURNER. Died Friday, Feb. 22, 1991, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 89, a native of Bessemer. Ala., and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. to religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Al Young. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by two daughters, Billie Burychka, Baton Rouge, and Dorothy Hamilton, Van Buren, Ark.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband William S. Bodine.

Hi, My name is Andrea Louise Diez and my grandmother and grandfather were Bodines. I do not know if you have them on your list, but I wanted to give you their information. My grandfather was, William Stanton Bodine and my grandmother was, Anna Lizzy Turner Bodine. They lived in Baton Rouge, La. I am not sure when my grandfather was born, but probably around 1898. My grandmother was born on March 24, 1900. They were married in 1919. I will try to get more info on them, but if you have some that you could share, that would be great!

Hey Dave, I could not remember if I had told you that Morris Burychka was my father. He passed away in Jan of 1997. Also, I think you are right about my grandfather's middle name being Stanson. He is buried with my grandmother in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum in Baton Rouge, LA. Please let me know if I can help in any other information.
