As a young girl, her name is Lara in the 1900 Census of Jefferson County, Illinois. She is in the household of Gasaway Bodine, her father. That must be her full name and "Larrie" is just a form of that.

Mrs. Larrie Kash, 65, died at 10:30 a. m. Sunday at her home in Ina. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. at the Free Will Baptist church in Nason. The Rev. Jim Fite will officiate and burial will be in Hickory Hill cemetery. The body will remain at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser. Mrs. Kash is survived by three sons, Virgil of Bonnie, Steve of Nason and Robert of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Green of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Ira Bodine of California and Stince Bodine of Mt. Vernon; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Dobbs of Bonnie.

Children: Virgil A. (1908), Ruby M. (11 March 1909), Beulah I. (9 Sept 1914), Stephen G. (1 April 1918), Earl (1922), Nina (1926).
