The wedding of Miss Catherine Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Albert Bodine, of Bowling Green, and William Lane Sission, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Everett Sisson, of Austin, Texas, took place Feb. 13, at 8 o'clock at the home of the bride.

William L. Sisson, aged 56, of 8412 Gaylord Rd., died Sunday, April 20, 1975. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine B. Sisson; a daughter, Betsy Sisson; two sons, Lane and Jerry Sisson; and a granddaughter. Mr. Sisson was a salesman for 28 years for Burroughs Corp., a member of the West Richmond Kiwanis Club and active in Tuckahoe Little League for many years. Remains rest at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Catherine B. (Kitty) Sisson, 80, of Richmond, widow of William Lane Sisson, passed away Friday, April 12, 2002. She is survived by two sons, Lane Sisson and his wife, Nadine, Jerry Sisson and his wife, Ashley; her daughter, Elizabeth K. Hood and her husband, Mike; her granddaughter, Stephanie Thomas and her husband, Brian; her sister, Mrs. Mary Zimmermann, all of Richmond; two nieces, Mrs. Kathy Gerritz of Richmond and Mrs. Marcia Strange of Cary, N.C. Mrs. Sisson was a graduate of Longwood College, a former elementary school teacher, and was retired from Trigon in 1986. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
