Notes for: Mary Townley

Mary's obituary contains more details than is usual for this time period reads "At Williamsburg, on Thursday, Feb. 1, Mary, wife of John M. Bodine in the 26th year of her age. The friends and acquaintenances of the family, and of G. M. Bodine, and her brother, Charles F. Townley, are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, on Saturday, Feb 3, at 1 o'clock, ...." (NYT 2 Feb 1855).

I gather from this that her maiden name must by Townley. I did not have it before the info from the obit.
