Minnie Evatt was buried in Colorado City Cemetery, Mitchell County, Texas. "Minnie Everett", now widowed, was living 1920 in the home of her parents in Mitchell County. Her 7-year old son William was living with her. "Minnie Evatts" and her son were still living in Mitchell County in 1930 in Mitchell County.

COLORADO CITY (SC)---Mrs. Minnie Evatt, 80, former Colorado City resident, died in a Douglas, Ariz. Hospital Wednesday at 10 p.m. after a long illness. She was born in Alabama, July 24, 1885. but had lived most of her life in Texas.
Funeral was held today at 2 p.m. from the Kiker and Son Chapel. Rev. Linam Prentice, pastor of the Evangelist Methodist Church of Slaton, officiated. Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, B. L. Evatt, Alfrido, Ariz., four brothers, L. L. Bodine, Jim Bodine and Pat Bodine, Colorado City, and Fred Bodine, Abilene; four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Wilson, Itasca, Mrs. Lloyd Morris, Moran, and Mrs. J. R. Jacks, and Mrs. Mallie Lewis, both of Abilene.
