PLEASANTVILLE---Alma F. Gilbert Bodine, 75, died Friday in North Broward Hospital, Pompano Beach, Fla. Born in Florence, Mrs. Bodine lived there most of her life before moving to Pleasantville 10 years ago. In 1978, she retired as a sales manager with the John Wanamaker store in Moorestown, where she was employed for 15 years. A member of the Florence United Methodist Church, she was active in Burlington County politics for more than 35 years. She was a former member of the Pemberton Eastern Star. Daughter of the late Reuben and Susan Beaudry Gilbert, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, R. Craig Bodine; two sons, Robert C. Bodine Jr. of Mission Viejo, Calif. and Terrence G. Bodine of Pleasantville; a sister, Anita Zotta of Roebling; two grandchildren, Robert Bodine III and Jennifer Bodine, both of Mission Viejo; and an aunt, Lillian Beaudry of Burlington Township. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence. The Rev. David Propert, pastor of the Florence United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Florence United Methodist Church, 2nd and Broad streets, Florence, N.J. 08518 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

R. CRAIG BODINE, 78, of Cardiff, formerly of Florence Township, died Wednesday at the Linwood Convalescent Center in Linwood. Born in Florence and a resident there for most of his life, Mr. Bodine served on the Florence Township Committee from 1969 to 1971 and on the township Board of Education from 1958 through 1970. He also was an exempt member of Florence Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2. He served on the Burlington County Planning Board Committee of Fifty, and was a Republican Burlington County Committeeman from Florence. Mr. Bodine was a toll collector on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge for eight years, retiring 13 years ago, and previously had worked as a foreman with Rieley-Stoker Co. in Croydon, Pa., for 10 years, and as a foreman's machinist at the R.D. Wood Co., now the Griffin Pipe Co., in Florence. He belonged to the Florence United Methodist Church and attended the Central United Methodist Church in Linwood. He was an active Mason, and his affiliations included Burlington Lodge 32 Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Consistory in Collingswood and the Crescent Temple Valley of Trenton. In his early years, he was an outstanding athlete in football, baseball and track. He played with several baseball leagues, including the former Roebling Blue Centers, where he was an outfielder. He was the widower of Alma Gilbert Bodine. Survivors: two sons, Robert C. Jr. of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Terrence G. of Cardiff; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Louis of Trenton, and a sister, Mary of Hamilton Township. Services: viewing, 7 to 9 p.m. today, Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence; funeral, 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home; burial, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington Township.
