The marriage of Howard Bodine and Frances Session was reported in the Bordentown "Register" of 9 Feb 1945. Frances was the daughter of William Bert and Edna Pearl (Herod) West and was married previously to Cecil Session. Howard and Frances Bodine were buried in Bordentown Cemetery, Burlington County.

BODINE, Frances M. Of Browns Mills, died Saturday in Mt. Holly, Virtua Health and Rehab Center, age 88. Private cremation. Graveside service: Friday 12:30 p.m. Bordentown Cemetery. Arrangements: Hartmann Funeral Home, Bordentown.

Howard A. Bodine Jr. died on Feb. 2 at the Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Bordentown, he was a life long resident before moving to Browns Mills in 1971. He served during World War II in the United States Coast Guard. He was honorably discharged with the rank of war-time chief. He was employed as a mailman with the Bordentown Post Office and retired from there after many years of community service. He was a parishioner of the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, a member of the Order of Oddfellows, and a lifetime member of the American Legion Bordentown Post 0026. He was an avid sports enthusiast who was a diehard Eagles and Phillies fan. Predeceased by his wife Francis, he is survived by his daughter, Sara E. Groslinger, his granddaughter, Pattie Albanese and his niece and nephew, Nadine and Michael O'Laughlin. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Bordentown cemetery with the Honorable Pastor William Green presiding. Donations may be made in memory of Howard A. Bodine to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001. Arrangements are made by the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
