On 5 June 1917, Allen Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Florence Township, Burlington County. He stated he was employed as a bookkeeper for the Burlington Supply Company. In 1920, Allan Bodine and his family were living in Burlington County where he worked as a clerk in a wire mill. On 14 April 1942, Allan Bodine enlisted in the U.S. Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

FLORENCE---Mrs. Alma Craig Bodine, 64, wife of Allan Bodine of Fifth and Olive Streets, died last night in St. Francis Hospital, Trenton. She also is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary Bodine; five sons, William, Craig and Louis of Florence; Earl of Vincentown; and Ira if Burlington; and six grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Koschek Funeral Home on Knickerbocker Avenue, Roebling, with the Rev. Sherman Robinson of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Florence Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening.

FLORENCE--Allan W. Bodine, 66, of Fifth and Olive Streets died Friday in St. Francis Hospital, Trenton. He was an employee of the Florence Township Sewage Department. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary M. Bodine of Florence; five sons, William, Craig and Lewis of Florence, Earl of Vincentown and Ira of Burlington; seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Emlen of Vincentown and Miss Margaret Bodine of Florence. Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington. Interment will be in Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call this evening.
