The Thomas family moved to Mitchell County in 1912 and settled in Loraine. After the death of her husband, Edna Thomas moved to Colorado City. Clinton and Edna Thomas were buried in Loraine Cemetery. See her obituary in the Abilene "Reporter-News" of 18 Nov 1959.

Children: Neita B. (1903), Willie C. (1906), Luther L. (7 Oct 1908), Glenn Sheppard (6 Sept 1914).
