The marriage of Thomas Bodine, of Trenton and Miss Grace Hoover, of Florence, was announced in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 15 Feb 1893. In 1900, Thomas Bodine was working as a jewelry store proprietor and living with his family in Trenton, Mercer County. Grace Bodine reported she had borne 2 children, both then living. In 1910, Thomas was owned and operated his own watch repair shop in Trenton. Grace (Hoover) Bodine was the daughter of Jacob C. and Harriett E. W. Hoover. Thomas Bodine, of Trenton, was named as surviving his brother William's death in the latter's newspaper obituary of 26 May 1944 and predeceased his wife.

Mrs. Grace E. Bodine of 546 South Clinton Avenue died yesterday at her home. She was the widow of Thomas E. Bodine. Surviving are a son, Claude T. Bodine and a daughter, Mrs. Nella Woods, both of Trenton; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Dyott of Trenton and Mrs. Marion Edwards of Riverside and two brothers, Karl Hoover of Riverside and Edward T. Hoover of Trenton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., at the Slack Funeral Home, Burlington. The Rev. Russell Martin, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, Trenton, will officiate. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call at the Funeral home tomorrow night after 7 o'clock.
