James E. Bodine, 26, of Gwynedd, son of Henry H. & Anna W. Bodine AND Edith Durrin, 19, of North Wales, daughter of Thomas & M. L. Durrin, were married 21 Oct 1886 at North Wales in the M. E. Church, by H. H. Bodine, M.G.
In 1900-1910, James Bodine was employed as a bookkeeper in 1900 and a manager of some sort in 1910 and living with his family in Philadelphia. By 1920, Edith Bodine was a widow and still living in Philadelphia with her two youngest daughters. In April 1940, Edith Bodine, lived in Philadelphia employed as a housekeeper for a private family. She gave her age as 60 and reported her 51-year old daughter Florence lived with her.

James Early Bodine, connected with the Hoffman-Corr Manufacturing Company for more than thirty years, died Tuesday at his home, 49 West Pomona street, Germantown. Mr. Bodine, who was fifty-seven years old, was the son of a retired Methodist minister. He was a member of the Mozart Lodge of Masons, Oriental Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, Mary Commandery of the Knights Templar, the Mystic Shrine of Lu Lu Temple, Miller Lodge, I.O.O.F., and Carona Encampment I.O.O.F. He is survived by his wife, Edith Durrin Bodine, and three daughters. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at his late residence. Interment will be private.
