BURDINE, STEPHEN RALPH---age 19, of Route 2, Box 125, Middlesettlements Rd., Maryville, died 1:20 a.m. Thursday at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. 1989 graduate of William Blount High School. Employed as an assistant used car manager at West Chevrolet. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Clyde Costner, Tim Burdine, Sr.; uncle, Ray Burdine. Survivors: parents, Ralph and Joyce Costner Burdine, Maryville; sister, Pamela Burdine, Washington D.C. and Maryville; grandmothers, Mildred Costner, Maryville, Edythe Burdine, Rockford; several aunts and uncles. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary West Chapel, Rev. Glenn Grubb, Rev. James Wells officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Stephen Ralph Burdine Memorial Fund c/o Mrs. Rex (Polly) Rogers, Route 3, Box 744 Ty Drive, Louisville, Tenn. 37777. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
