6 Dec 1852 William Bodine AND Mary Jane Leach, both of Camden, NJ.
In 1860, the family was living in Waterford Township, Camden County, where William worked as a glass cutter. In 1870, Mary Bodine, now widowed, was living in Clayton Township, Gloucester County with her three surviving children, all of who were attending school. In 1880, Mary Bodine was living in Glassboro Township, Gloucester County heading a household that consisted of her son William, daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and George Barnart and one-month old grandson Frank, as well as a servant. The 1895 New Jersey State Census shows her living with her son William Bodine in Landis Township, Cumberland County. The death of William M. Bodine was reported in the Woodbury "Constitution" of 15 April 1868.
William and Mary Jane Bodine were buried in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Camden County, New Jersey. His death record named him as the son of Joel M. and Eliza Bodine.

BODINE---At Glassboro, N.J. on the 6th inst., WILLIAM M. BODINE, aged 41 years. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from his late residence, this (Friday) morning, at 10 o'clock. Interment at Long-a-Coming, N.J.

BODINE--In Bridgeton, N.J., October 23, 1897, Mary Jane, wife of the late William M. Bodine, aged 63 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence of her son, William E. Bodine, No. 243 Fayette st. on Monday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment at Berlin, N.J. Tuesday morning at 11.30 o'clock.
Note: Mary Jane LEECH was named as the mother of William Elbert Bodine in the latter's 1931 State of Pennsylvania Certificate of death.
