Sgt. Samuel T. Bodine, Jr. AND Miss Marsha Gayle Feine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August B. Feine, were married Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Buffalo by Rev. John D. Mears. Penelope Bodine and Marian Bodine, sisters of the groom were bridesmaids.

In 1950, Marsha G. Feine, age 4, lived with her parents in Tonawanda, Erie Co., New York.

June 21, 1943--Sept. 4, 2013. Samuel T. Bodine Jr., former vice president of August Feine Steel in Buffalo, died Wednesday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a short illness. He was 70. Mr. Bodine was born in Concord, N.H., but graduated from Fountain Valley, a boarding school in Colorado. His career at Lake Forest College in Illinois was interrupted by a draft notice, which led to three years in the Army, including one tour of duty during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bodine rose to the rank of staff sergeant. He met Marsha Feine, daughter of the steel company owner, in college. After his return from the Army in 1969, Mr. Bodine married Marsha and moved to Buffalo to work for his father-in-law. He retired from Feine Steel in 1999. After his retirement, Mr. Bodine drove a school bus for the Williamsville Central School District for 12 years. He was a youth baseball and hockey coach and an avid golfer. Mr. Bodine was a past president of the Quarter Club, a group of Buffalo-area business people; past director of the Buffalo Executives Association; and a former treasurer of Calvary Episcopal Church, Williamsville. Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Samuel III; and a daughter, Kimberley Oloffson. A memorial service will be held at a time and date to be determined in Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St., Williamsville.

Marsha F. Bodine, active in volunteer work with Children's Hospital and the Studio Arena Theatre, died Jan. 20 in Beechwood Continuing Care, Getzville. She was 77. Born in Buffalo, the former Marsha Feine was a descendant of the family that founded August Feine and Sons, a steel service company that originally specialized in decorative ironwork. Her grandparents' home on Ellicott Street is now the Russell J. Salvatore Hospitality House, part of the Kevin Guest House complex. Mrs. Bodine enjoyed summers as a child at the family's vacation home on Lake Shore Road in Angola, and was a 1963 graduate of Buffalo Seminary. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1968 from Lake Forest, Ill., College, where she met Samuel T. Bodine Jr. They were married when he returned from serving in the Army in 1969. She was a volunteer at what was then Children's Hospital of Buffalo and, as a member of the Josephine Goodyear Committee and Aid Board, helped compile the Children's Hospital Cookbook in 1980. Mrs. Bodine also was a former member of the Women of Studio Arena Theatre, the Twentieth Century Club, the University at Buffalo Women's Club and the Clarence Contract Bridge Association. She was a Buffalo Sabres season ticket holder in the 1970s. Her husband, who became an executive in August Feine and Sons, died in 2013. Survivors include a son, Samuel T. III; a daughter, Kimberley Oloffson; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St. at South Cayuga Road, Williamsville.
