Albert Bodine and his family were living 1900-1930 in Penns Grove, Salem County where in 1910 Albert worked as a laborer, in 1920 as supervisor of a powder plant and in 1930 as supervisor of a dye works. On 12 Sept 1918, he registered for the World War I draft in Penns Grove and reported he worked as a supervisor for the DuPont Company. Frances (Black) Bodine was the daughter of John Smith and Caroline (Fawcett) Black. Her birth on 28 July 1877 in Salem County appears in New Jersey State Birth Records.

Penn's Grove, N.J., Nov. 23--Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o;clock from the Gross Funeral Home for Albert J. Bodine, 63, former councilman, who died yesterday. He had been employed by the DuPont Company for 36 years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of Penn's Grove Lodge, A. F. and A.M., and served two years on both Council and the board of education. The Rev. Henry Stratton, pastor of Emmanuel M. E. Church, will officiate at the services, wih interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Bodine, and nine children, Charles and William of Washington, Maxwell of Philadelphia; Mrs. Ellen Huber, Pedricktown, and Jesse, Frank, Albert, Mrs. Elizabeth Davis and Mrs. Frank Schlipf all of Penn's Grove.

Desite the fact Fannie's grave marker reads born in 1877, both censuses of 1900 and 1915 recorded her birth in July and in the censuses of April 1910, Jan 1920 and April 1930 she was 33, 43 and 53, respectively, then that matches up with a DOB in July 1876 rather than 1877.
