Paula Bodine, age 21 and single, was living 1930 with her mother in Camden, Camden County. She gave her occupation as that of interior decorator. In June 1930, Clarence H. Carr, 28 and single, lived in Philadelphia and worked as a life insurance agent. In April 1940, Clarence Carr, 37 and Paula Carr, 30, lived in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey.

Mrs. Clarence H. Carr, the former Paula Bodine, died Tuesday at her home, the Penn Center House, 19th and John F. Kennedy blvd. She was 60. Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband.

Clarence H. Carr, general agent and an underwriter of the American National Insurance Co. died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital. He was 69 and lived at the Penn Center House, 1900 J. F. Kennedy blvd. Mr. Carr was a charted life underwriter. He had been in the insurance field 47 years and with the American National Insurance Co. since 1950. He was a graduate of Girard College and Swarthmore College where he pitched on the baseball team with George Earnshow, a former pitching great with the Philadelphia Athletics. Mr. Carr Was a member of the Union League, assistant treasurer of the Avalon Yatch Club, a member of the Seaview Country Club, the American College of Life Underwriters, and the Philadelphia Association of Life Underwriters. A widower, he was the husband of the late Paula Bodine. He is survived by a cousin Eunice Bigelow. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Bringhurst Funeral Home, 2200 Walnut st.
