Mrs. Florence Bodine Truax, 23, formerly of Rockaway, wife of Emery Truax of 8 West McFarlan street died Friday in Dover General Hospital. Her infant daughter died also. Besides her husband, Mrs. Truax is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Bodine Sr. of Rockaway; two brothers Dr. Joseph L. Bodine of Iowa City and Gilbert Bodine Jr. of Rockaway; four sisters, Miss Mary Bodine and Mrs. Mable Sheninger, both of Rockaway; Mrs. Anna Smith of Floral Park, L. I. and Mrs. William Hahn of Arlington. Funeral services were conducted at the Bodine home Monday afternoon with Rev. Warren P. Sheen, pastor of the Chatham Methodist Church and Rev. Boyd R. Greenwalt, pastor of the Rockaway Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.

Randolph Twp.---Emery C. Truax Sr. died at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Saturday after a long illness. He was 75. Born in Oak Ridge, Mr. Truax lived in Randolph most of his life. Before retiring in 1978, he was a foreman for the Morris County Bridge Department, where he had worked for 20 years. Mr. Truax was a member of Mount Fern United Methodist Church, Randolph, for 66 years. He is survived by his wife, Rose A.; a son, Emery C. Jr., Succasuna; two daughters, Carole Hofbeck, Bernardsville, and Janis Schoeller, Brick Township; a sister, Myrtle Hedden, Randolph; and five grandchildren. Arrangements are by Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10.
