Joseph H. D. Good, manager for the Ideal Financing Association, Inc., in Mount Carmel, has been promoted to also have charge of the Pottsville office of the company, it was announced today.
It appears their marriage was of short duration. The Chester Times of 14 Aug 1937 reports the marriage of Joseph H. D. Good of Chester, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Good, of Bangor, and Miss Marie Estelle Burrell. The same newspaper of 14 Aug 1948 refers to him as Rev. Joseph H. D. Good, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cambridge, Pa.

On 25 April 1942, John Franklin Dietz of Denville, NJ, registered for the World War II Draft and reported he was born 29 June 1896 in Pen Argyl, Pa. He named Edith Mae Dietz as his next of kin.

Denville Twp.---Edith M. Dietz, a former Denville schoolteacher, died yesterday at Dover Christian Nursing Home after a long illness. She was 84. She was born in Newark, and lived in Denville from 1938 to 1964, when she moved to Merritt Island, Fla. She returned to New Jersey in 1984. Mrs. Dietz had taught at the Riverside School from 1943 until retiring in 1964. She was graduated from Trenton Normal School in 1924. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Denville, and past matron of the Mountain Lakes Order of the Eastern Star, Surviving are a son, Larry, Parsippany; a daughter, Doris Jacobus, Succasunna; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave.
