Much of this was not my original research. I trade data with people frequently. The name is probably Mallery rather than Mallory as the family appears to be from the Northern Branch origination in new Haven Ct circa 1638. Sometimes the census takers spelled the name incorrectly...Mallory, Mallery and Mallary are all the same lineage. The first in New England spelled it Mallery more often than not. The are the same family lineage in England and then back into France before 1066. They were very intimately related to the first colonizations of America...having been investors in the Virginia Charter with both the Northern and Southern Branches likely coming from Northumberland... they were related to the Hyltons, Wessyngtons (George Washington's ancestors), Percys (Henry Hot Spur), Braveheart, and several of the Scotish Kings. One maternal line goes back to Charlemagne and before.
