My grandfather was William Bodine, bother of your Ggrandfather, Albert. I have done a lot of geneology and can give you the information you need. My mother Gwen is still alive and the families were quite close. I saw Alvin & Diane & their son years ago,they may still be in Arkansas. My e-mail is sshobbs at cox.net.

Wilbert and Bernice Bodine were buried in Gill Cemetery, Van Buren County. Bernice was the daughter of Levi Newton and Esther Denton (Sims) Hillman.

ALMA - Bernice Bodine, 74, of Alma died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, in a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Gainesville, Mo. She was a retired employee of O.K. Foods and a member of Fort Smith Christian Center. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Bogner of Fort Smith; a son, Donny Bodine of Fort Smith; six sisters, Opal Tanner of Lincoln, Juanita Key of Van Buren, Ruby Roberts of Alma, Mary Vaughn of Gentryville, Ind., Jean Richmond of New Castle, Okla., and Sue Kear of Melbourne, Fla.; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be Stanley, Ronnie and Dewain Key and James Tanner.
