The will of William R. Bodine of Hedgesville, Berkeley Co., West Virginia is dated 3 March 1930 and names his wife, Jeanette Wilson Bodine, of Hedgesville, as his sole heir. The will was proved 5 Dec 1939 and recorded in Berkeley County Will Book 27, p. 428.

Martinsburg, W. Va, Dec. 10.---Mrs. Jeannette Bodine, 65, wife of he late William R. Bodine, and sister of Mrs. Elizabeth R. Menefee, Cumberland, Md., judge of the Juvenile Court of Allegany county, was found dead yesterday morning at her apartment in the Grabill house in Hedgesville, about seven miles west of this place. Dr. C. G. Power, county coroner, said death was due to natural causes. Mrs. Bodine was well known through the county. Born February 11, 1875, a daughter of the late J. H. and Louisa Collier Drenner, she lived her entire life in the Hedgesville section. Her husband preceded her in death a year ago. She was a charter member of the Hedgesville Chapter, No. 67, Order of Eastern Star, and a past worthy matron in the organization. She was also a member of the Hedgesville Episcopal Church. Besides Mrs. Menefee, she is survived by another sister, Mrs. D. H. Wilhelm, Rock Cliff Drive, and a number of nieces and nephews.
