Mrs. Hannah Brown, 83, who made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Russell Roof, 140 South Second St., died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at County Memorial hospital after a two-week illness. She was born Nov 13, 1879, at Bridgeton. M. J. a daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane Facemire Bodine, and was married in 1899 to Phillip G. Brown, who died March 5, 1950. She was a member of Grace Methodist church. Survivors are two sons, Jesse Brown, Canal Lewisville, and Thornton Brown, this city; four daughters, Mrs. Lewis Swigley, Columbus, Mrs. Darrell Rinker, Newark, Mrs. James Everhart and Mrs. Russell Roof, Coshocton; one brother, Thomas Bodine, Bridgeton, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. One son, one brother and three sisters are deceased. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Glass funeral home in charge of Rev. John Knox Hess. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until time of services.
