Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Nettie H. Bodine wife of William C Bodine, at her home in Kenton, on Friday, December 27. The funeral services were held at Kenton, Sunday. The deceased was born February 28, 1871, and was aged 47 years, 9 months, and 23 days. She was united in marriage to William Bodine, January 5, 1892, and has resided in Kenton for the past 20 years. Surviving are her husband, one son, Ensign Raymond Bodine of Hampton Roads, one sister, Lauia M. Boyle of Granville and one brother, Frank M. Boyle of Etna. Six weeks ago Mrs. Bodine was taken ill and underwent an operation, following which she seemingly improved. On Friday, December 27, she suddenly became seriously ill and died within an hour.

KENTON, Aug. 13--Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Bodine who died suddenly Friday in her residence, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Brindley mortuary, with the Rev. Stanley L. Weems of Kenton, in charge. Burial will be in Grandville cemetery.

KENTON, Feb. 19-- William Bodine, retired merchant tailor here for many years, died about 10 p. m. Sunday in McKitrick hospital here from injuries suffered when struck by an automobile in downtown Kenton. Bodine, who was walking east at the intersection of Franklin-st (Route 3OS) and Detroit-st (Route 68), was struck by an automobile driven north by James Obrian of Kenton. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later. Death was attributed to a crushed chest. Bodine was born May 1, 1869 in Newark, but had lived in Kenton most of his life. Police are attempting to locate relatives in other cities. The body was removed to the Price funeral home, pending arrangements not complete.

KENTON, Feb. 20--Funeral services for William C. Bodine, 75, who met death Sunday night from injuries suffered when he was struck by an automobile driven by James Obrian, Kenton, an employee of Lima Tank Depot, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral home. He is survived by one son, Raymond, address unknown. Obrian told police that the man stepped in front of the car.
