Jeanne Bodine was a 1950 graduate of the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree. The wedding of Richard F. Bean, serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Taconic, at the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia and Jeanne C. Bodine at the First Baptist Church in Boston was reported in the Wellsboro Gazette of 14 June 1951. The wedding of Benjamin Hansen, of Taneytown, Maryland and Mrs. Jeanne Bean in the Church of the Brethren in Westminster was reported in the Wellsboro Gazette of 27 May 1965.
