Kitch, Lutheran Pastor. [Note: Alegra is the daughter of Earl C. and Leta Fern (Pritts) Lenhart.]

BODINE, Nelson J., 252 Cornell Dr., died on April 19 in the Veteran's Hospital in Ann Arbor following an extended illness. He was 46 years of age. Mr. Bodine was born on November 22, 1916 in Detroit, the son of Clarence and Grace Gardner Bodine. He attended Northwestern High School, Ford Trade School and Grove City Engineering School. He was married to Allegra Lenhard who survives him. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy where he attained the rank of chief warrant officer and was a tool and die maker. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, the American Legion, the South Lyon Masonic Lodge, the Howell Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Walnut Street Methodist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Judy and John; his father, Clarence Bodine of Detroit; four brothers, Clarence of Detroit, Ralph of Pittsburgh, Pa., Clifford of Newberry, and Fred of San Diego, Cal.; and two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Lunsten of Huntington Woods and Mrs. Norrie Ashley of Long Beach, Calif. Funeral services were held Monday, April 22, at 2 p.m. from the Walnut Street Methodist Church with the Reverend Allan Gray officiating. Interment was in Lakeview cemetery. The presentation of the United States flag was made by members of the Devereaux Post of the American Legion.

Allegra Bodine, 81, died on Monday, December 11, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at MacDonald's Funeral Home, Inc., 315 North Michigan Avenue, Howell, Michigan. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 11 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, Howell. Memorial donations are appreciated to First United Methodist Church, 1230 Bower Street, Howell, MI 48843. Arrangements entrusted to MacDonald's Funeral Home, Inc., Howell, Michigan.
