Notes for: Hezekiah ("Guy") Watkins Bodine, Sr.

Here is his info from the 1860 Census of Bridgewater, Susquehanna Co., PA:

It's just a wild guess, but these Bodines could have some connection to Lowman, New York. I base this on the following email:

Good evening, Joyce.
I want to pass some information regarding Harriet L. Wynkoop Gehrke, wife of Henry Gehrke.Henry Gehrke was my Grandmother's half-brother and my half-Great Uncle.
I have Harriet's death certificate. She was born March 18, 1896 to Joseph and Mattie Bodine Wynkoop in Lowman, NY. Joseph was born in Chemung, NY and Mattie was born in Burlington, PA.
Harriet died on December 7, 1928 at 3:30 am at the age of 32 years, 8 months, and 20 days of Pernicious Anemia and Tachycardia. According to the death certificate, she was ill 1 year with the Anemia and 1 day with the Tachycardia when she died.
I don't know if you can add the death date to this page on the website or not, or if you are taking it from the Cemetery in Chemung, but I wanted to pass along this information.
I don't know if any Wynkoops are interested in her or not. She and Uncle Henry never had children. At the time of her death, she lived at 1057 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY with Uncle Henry. He remarried many years later and never had children with the second wife, Viorene Peck Gehrke, either.
Thanks, Eileen Pizza. eilpiz at msn.com
