Notes for: Leah 'Millie' B. Bodine

Millie and Lillie must have been twins, but I'm just guessing. I'm making a guess they were both born dec 1868 based on the 1880 Census info and later info for Lillie. This not certain, though.

Millie Bodine, age 12, was living with her parents 1880 in Kansas City, Missouri, but in 1900, while living with her mother she is called Leah M., born Dec 1874, and the wife of Charles P. Umstot, a soap salesman. In 1920, Charles worked as a advertising copywriter.

From Cook County, Illinois Marriage Records:
Charles P. Umstot, 31, AND Leah Mars Bodine, 24, were married 19 April 1895.

From Cook County, Illinois Birth Records:
Mary Elizabeth Umstot was born 17 Feb 1909, daughter of Chas. Pennington & Leah B. (Bodine) Umstot.

From Illinois Death Records:
Charles P. Umstot, 70, died 2 Oct 1933 in Chicago, Cook County. Husband of Leah Umstot.
Leah B. Umstot died 12 Dec 1948 in Cook County.

Children: Phyllis (c1901), Louis (c1903), Elizabeth (c1910).
