Notes for: Lena Vance Bodine

A family member said she lived in Columbia, MO. They had no children.

Lena V. Bodine was age 5 in 1870 and as Leona V. Bodine was 15 in 1880, living with her parents. In 1900, Lena Bodine, age 33, lived in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri working as a dry goods clerk. Married to E. B. Runyan in Columbia, Boone County in 1906, she was widowed by April 1910 when, at age 41, she was living in Columbia and working in a dry goods store. In Jan 1920, Lena Runyan was still living in Columbia, but now living as a companion to Ada Smith. Eugene and Lena Runyan were buried in Columbia Cemetery, Boone County. Lena Runyan appears to have died out of state as her death was not recorded in the Missouri death records.
