He reported being born 11 March 1881 and that Vada Bodine was his next of kin. In 1930, Don Bodine, a farmer, lived with his family in Castleton, Stark County. Vada (Drinnin) Bodine was the daughter of John R. and Betsy A. (Duckworth) Drinnin.

Services were at 1 a.m. Friday in St. Dominic's Church for Mrs. Don L. (Vada I.) Bodine, 80, of rural Wyoming, who died in Peoria Methodist Hospital Tuesday, April 1, 1975. The Rev. Arthur Bray officiated with interment in St. Dominic's Cemetery, Wyoming. Memorials may be directed to St. Dominic's Church building fund or the March of Dimes. Mrs. Bodine was born Jan. 30, 1895 in Stark County, the daughter of John R. and Betsy Anne Duckworth Drinnin. She married Mr. Bodine Jan. 7, 1913 [sic]. He preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Donna of Peoria and Mrs. J. Ted (Darlene) O'Neill of Wyoming, with whom she made her home, a sister, Mrs. Mildred Kelly of Wyoming, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, and a brother. Mrs. Bodine was a member of the St. Dominic's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Funeral services for Don LeClaire Bodine, 67, of Castleton, will be held at 9:30 Thursday morning at St. Dominic's church in Wyoming with Rev. E. J. Bratkowski in charge. Burial will be in St. Dominic's cemetery. Mr. Bodine died at 5:15 Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ted O'Neill, of north of Wyoming. He had been in failing health for several months. He is survived by his wife Vada, a son J. P. Bodine of Castleton, and two daughters, Mrs. O'Neill and Donna of Peoria. Rosary service will be held at 8 o'clock tonight at the home.
