Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Anna Miller of Sunbury, a native of Davenport, who died Sunday, May 16, 1943, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ray in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The body will be brought to Durant for burial services at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The former Anna Marie Severin was born February 4, 1863, in Davenport, the daughter of Johann and Friederika Severin. She received her education in the Sunbury schools. She married Henry Miller on March 11, 1885, in Davenport. The couple farmed one and one-half miles west of Sunbury, until they moved to Canada and then to Ashland, Wisconsin. Henry preceded her in death on September 14, 1934. She later made her home with her daughter in Minneapolis. Minnesota.

Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy Ray; one son, Henry (Amanda) Miller of Winnipeg, Canada; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Albert Miller, one sister, Sophia Burmeister and one nephew, John Burmeister.
