On 12 Sept 1918, Miles Rufus Dunham registered for the World War 1 draft in El Dorado, Jackson County, Oklahoma. He reported he was born 8 March 1898 and was a self-employed farmer. M. R. Dunham died of a cerebral hemorrhage and was buried in El Dorado Cemetery, Jackson County, Oklahoma. (Texas death certificate no. 1951-44710).
