She was Nellie Bodine, born Sept 1893 in the June 1900 census and again Nellie Bodine, age 15 in April 1910 living with her father in Hardeman County, Texas.
1st marriage--1911--WILLIAM DUDLEY RICKS.
On 19 Sept 1918, William Dudley Ricks registered for the World War I Draft in Fort Worth, Texas. He reported he was born 27 Aug 1881, worked as a blacksmith, and named his wife, Elizabeth Ricks, as his next of kin.
In Jan 1920, Margarite Ricks, widow, lived in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas with her son and daughter and worked as a private housekeeper.
From the Texas Death Certificate of William Dudley Ricks, married, blacksmith, born 27 Aug 1881 in Missouri; died 30 March 1941 in Mansfield, Tarrant County; buried in Mt. Olivet. Mrs. Gussie Ricks of Mansfield, informant.

SHAMROCK--Margaret Elizabeth Bentley, 82, died Saturday. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Southern Methodist Church with the Rev. Oscar Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Richardson Funeral Home. Mrs. Bentley was born in Ohio and came to Shamrock 11 years ago from Quanah. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Howard Carmichael and Mrs. Gene Brown, both of Brownwood, and Mrs. O. E. King of Weatherford; a son, G.T. of Brownwood; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Litchfield of Shamrock, Mrs. Mabel Petrey of Dumas and Mrs. Grace Williams of Pampa; a brother, Ralph Bodine of Fort Worth and several grandchildren.
