The Best-Bodine records say that George Apker, a Civil War verteran, is buried on his home place in Marsh Hill, Lycoming Co., PA in McIntyre Twp. Three graves are marked. They are all in a plot near Lycoming Creek in a clump of trees. Mercy Southard Apker is buried in a cemetery on Quaker Hill within the Southard family plot.
