Notes on the family groupsheet from Catherine Horman say that Theodore Bodine was a graduate of N.R.Y. (?) Dental School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was also a retired captain of the U.S.N.R. He has lectured at dental groups all over the U.S. and was a member of many professional dental groups. He and his wife were members of the Unity Church.

FLORIDA -- Dr. Theodore A. Bodine Sr., 88, passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, in Pensacola, Fla. Born in Pennsylvania, he was formerly of Akron. Dr. Bodine was a retired doctor of dentistry, and was a retired U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Denture Prosthetics, American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, American International Dentistry, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Academy of Plastic Research. A diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, he was a member of Delta Sigma Delta, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Masons and Shrine, past president of Tau Epsilon Delta Prosthetics Society, and was past chairman of numerous American and Ohio State dental association committees. He was the author of numerous articles in professional journals. Survivors include his widow, Mary Bodine; son, Dr. Theodore A. Bodine Jr.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla. Faith Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
