From Ronny Bodine:
In 1956/7, Irvin M. Bodine became the 9th president of the Ontario Chapter of the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers. In April 1975, he founded Madok Manufacturing, Ltd. in Brantford (Madok= Mary, Donna, Ken), which manufactured replacement HVAC coils, and served as its 1st president until his resignation in 1986, to be succeeded by his son Kenneth. In his honor, the Mayor of Brantford designated a new street as Bodine Drive. Irvin's widow, Katie, attended the dedication, carring her late husband's ashes in her purse, proclaiming he would be very pleased and proud.
