Notes for: Mary Bodine
The birth record for her on the page from the family Bible found in her father's Rev. War pension files says that she is "Mary Bodine, daughter of John Bodine." Nothing like this is said about the other kids, but that is assumed that they also are children of John Bodine. It's probably just some additional info thrown in, but it makes me wonder if only Mary was the actual child of John.

From Ronny Bodine:
In the will of her father, she is referred to as recently married and so is likely identical with Mary Bodine who married Ebenezer Petty in 1805 as both were residents of Alexandria Township.

December the thirty first in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and five I joined in the hold bonds of matrimony Mr. Ebenezer Petty to Miss Mary Bodine of the Township of Alexandria in the County of Hunterdon, State of New Jersey. Benjamin Wright, J.P.

On 30 Dec 1836, Jonathan Petty of Hunterdon County was appointed to administer the estate of Ebenezer Petty, late of Hunterdon County.
From Revolution War Pension and Bounty-Land Warrant Files, Case 8156.
On 27 May 1834, Ebenezer Petty appeared before the Hunterdon County, NJ Court and declared he was a resident of Alexandria Twp., aged 83 years the 17th of Feb., last, and that he served as a soldier during the Revolutionary War several times beginning in March 1775. His claim was denied because he served less than six months.
On 12 Aug 1852, Jonathan Petty, 43, resident of Bucks Co., PA, son of Ebenezer Petty, appeared before the Hunterdon County, NJ Court and declared his father had died in Hunterdon County on 24 Dec 1836, leaving a widow, Mary Petty, and ten children, viz. Jonathan, Jacob, Joseph, John, Jane wife of William Conover, Rebecca wife of Bartholomew Lott, Mary wife of Daniel Wolverton, Matilda wife of Wm. Stout, Anna wife of Thomas Queen and Catharine. The widow Mary Petty died 2 Feb 1851 and the aforementioned children all survived her. Jonathan Petty applied for a pension on behalf of the heirs of his father for his military service, but the Pension Office requested additional evidence to support his service and as this could not be furnished the claim was denied.
