Hi Dave,
...
My line is from Joel Goode Bodine and Bessie Allen to Lena Arlee (sometimes Ada) Bodine who is my grandmother. Lena married Claude Hal Haga and had seven children with only three surviving past young adulthood. Those children were Windsor, Margaret, and William. My Aunt Margaret was born in 1908, remembered Grandpa Joel very well, and related many family stories to me. She also played with the children of Joel's new family, Aubrey, Seeber, and Ellen.
Aunt Margaret passed away last year at the age of 96. I have a photo of Joel, taken about 1900. If your are interested, I would TRY to scan and email to you...

Hello,
My maiden name is Sarah Grace Miller and I found your website because my paternal great grandmother is Lean Arlee Bodine. My 2nd great grandfather being the "Grandpa Joel" in the message below. My grandfather was William Tyrus Miller (Haga originally, and I am still working to sort out the story there--I'm just beginning my genealogy journey). My great aunt Margaret, is the Aunt Margaret mentioned below and the message says they had a photo of Grandpa Joel? I knew my great aunt Margaret well and am caretaker of her namesake, my aunt (not great, I mean, great in attitude, but not lineage!) Margaret. Maybe I missed it on the website or maybe it was never sent, but I am curious about that photo!
Thanks for all the work you've done and for sharing it online. As I came so late in my family, I don't know all that much and most have passed on. It has been interesting to learn!
Stay well,
Sarah Grace Roberton (Miller)
