Notes for: Sarah Eliza Bodine

The family Bible of Mary Jane Bodine Jernigan, her half-sister gives her birth date as April 24, 1846, but the 1850 census records her as being 3 months old. This Bible record gives her death date as shown. It does not seem logical that she was born in 1846 as her parents did not marry until March of 1848.

There is an Eliza (Bodine) Whitworth in the house of Frank Bodine in the 1880 Census of Warrenton And Bluff, Marshall Co., AL. She is 34 and born in AL. Her parents were born in TN. She is widowed and it looks like her son, William Whitworth, is also present (6, AL, AL, AL).
