Notes for: James Bratt
His parents were from New York. Her father's name comes from the 1880 Census of Center, Lyon Co., KS. His wife's name was Nettie, but she doesn't appear to be Edwardeen's mother. Nettie is from Illinois, but Edwardeen's mother is listed as from New York. James first five children in the census have their mother as being from New York. The last child, age 1, may be Nettie and James'.

Subject: Bodine / Bratt Family
Hello Dave,
My name is Darryl Evans. I found your name and Genealogy report on one of the websites,
and would like to get some information from you if I can.
I saw your Great-Grandmother, I believe that is the relationship, was Edwardine Bratt Bodine.
My Great-Grandmother was one of her sisters, Bessie Bratt Evans, who was married to
Daniel Evans.
I have been trying for many years, to find out information about my/our Family to no avail.
I was told when I was young, my Grandfather Ed Evans, Daniel and Bessie's only son, was
adopted, but have no proof otherwise.
I found one "relative" Denise Oliver-Velez, whom I have tried contacting via phone, Facebook,
and email, but she doesn't respond. I had seen her website and there was a picture of
Daniel and Bessie Evans with a young child. I have almost the same identical picture!
But I know absolutely nothing about my Father's side of the Family.
To my knowledge, my Grandfather Ed was an only child, my Father is an only child, and I
am an only child. I have no contact with any of my Father's relatives, as I do not know their
whereabouts.
If there is anything you can help me with regarding the "Family" I would greatly appreciate it,
would love to find out more about the Evans' and Bratt's who are living.
Edgar Evans was married to Lois Laura Stephens Evans, and I have no idea where any of
my Grandmother's relations are either.
Thank you Dave, for your time and consideration.
