Charlsie operated the Townehouse Restaurant in Savannah for many years and from 1987 to 1989 opened and operated Country Vittels. Selling the restaurant in 1989 she went to work as a private caregiver for an Alzheimer patient in Savannah until his death.
Augustus Davis died of emphysema and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah. He had worked as a truck driver for Derst Bread Company in Savannah. Charlsie was divorced from her 2nd husband, Bobby, in 1971. She and Walter Loomis were married and divorced four times, the last time in December 1980.

BLOOMINGDALE - Walter Carling "Wally" Loomis, 69, of Bloomingdale, GA died Tuesday March 18, 2008 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. He was born in Aiken, S.C. He retired from Air Liquide. He served in the U. S. Navy for 4 years. He was a loving father, husband and an avid fisherman. Mr. Loomis was preceded in death by his father John Harvey Loomis. He is survived by his wife, Sandra B. Loomis of Bloomingdale, GA; 2 sons, John Loomis (Lynn) of Guyton, GA and Carl Loomis (Dorothy) of Pennsylvania; 5 daughters, Donna Siebert (Frederick) of Savannah, GA, Debbie Loomis of IA, Kecia Milberg (Daniel) of St. Louis, Mo., Tonya Trinidad (Louis) of Orlando, FL., and Sheila Long (John) of Calf.; mother, Eleanor "Billie" Loomis; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Charlsie "Pat" Marie Bodine Davis - SAVANNAH - Charlsie "Pat" Marie Bodin.e Davis, 76, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustus Davis a daughter, Frieda Davis Collins, and one sister. Pat was born and raised in Maggs [Meigs] County, Tenn. Pat Davis and Wally Loomis were owners of the Townhouse Restaurant for many years. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Taylor (Kenny) of Darien; a son, John Loomis (Lynn) of Guyton; two brothers, James and Leland Bodine; a sister, Edna Holdren; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory.
